At Sweedies, we are committed to delivering the highest quality Swedish candy experience to your door. Because our products are perishable food items, our return and refund policies are strictly governed by health, safety, and food-handling regulations.

By purchasing from trysweedies.com, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.


1. No-Return Policy for Food Products

In accordance with global health and safety standards for consumable goods, all Sweedies candy products are non-returnable and non-exchangeable. Once a package has left our fulfillment center, we cannot accept it back into our inventory. We do not restock food items to ensure that every customer receives a product that is 100% fresh, untampered with, and safe for consumption. We do not offer "change of mind" returns or taste-preference exchanges.

2. Damaged or Defective Goods

While we take extreme care in packing your "Mood Bags," we recognize that shipping accidents can happen. If your order arrives in an unsatisfactory state, we are committed to making it right.

What qualifies for a claim:

  • Safety Seal Breach: If the primary candy bag arrives torn, punctured, or open.
  • Severe Damage: If the product is crushed or compromised to the point of being inedible.
  • Incorrect Order: If the items delivered do not match the items listed on your order confirmation.

How to file a claim: To be eligible for a refund or replacement, you must contact us at support@trysweedies.com within 48 hours of the delivery timestamp provided by the carrier.

Your email must include:

  1. Your Order Number (e.g., #SW1001).
  2. Clear photographic evidence of the shipping box AND the damaged product.
  3. A brief description of the issue.

Please do not discard the damaged items until your claim has been processed, as we may require further documentation.

3. Refunds and Resolutions

Upon receipt of your claim, our team will inspect the evidence and notify you of the approval or rejection of your resolution.

  • Approved Claims: If your claim is approved, we will either ship a replacement at no cost to you or issue a refund to your original payment method.
  • Refund Timeline: Approved refunds are processed immediately. However, please allow 5-10 business days for your financial institution to post the transaction to your account.
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the entire order was lost or incorrectly fulfilled by our team.

4. Shipping & Delivery Issues

  • Incorrect Address: Sweedies is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer at checkout. Please double-check your "Ship To" info.
  • Lost or Stolen Packages: If your tracking status shows "Delivered" but you have not received your package, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim. Sweedies is not liable for theft after a package has been successfully delivered to the provided address.
  • Refused Packages: If you refuse a delivery, the package will be disposed of by the carrier. No refunds will be issued for refused shipments.

5. Order Cancellations & Modifications

To ensure the fastest possible delivery, our system sends orders to our fulfillment floor within minutes of purchase. For this reason, we cannot guarantee any cancellations or changes once an order is placed. If you need to change an address, please email support@trysweedies.com immediately, and we will attempt to intercept the order if it has not yet been processed.

6. European Union "Right of Withdrawal"

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, this right does not apply to the supply of goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. As Sweedies sells perishable food products, all candy sales are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal and remain non-returnable.

7. Compliance with Advertising Standards

This policy is designed to comply with the Terms of Service (ToS) for Google Merchant Center, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads, and Shopify Payments. We provide a clear path for resolution regarding damaged goods to ensure a transparent and trustworthy shopping experience for all users.
